Jeane Melany

Jeane Melany is a project manager within IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program. She has extensive project management experience in the development sector and brings expertise in stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Prior to joining IISD, Jeane was a senior program manager at DT Global Asia Pacific for DFAT-funded programs: Australia Indonesia Partnership for Infrastructure and the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement Economic Cooperation programs. Managing these programs, Jeane ensured that program implementation aligned with donor requirements and complied with DT Global processes and procedures.

Before this, Jeane worked as a regional monitoring, evaluation, and learning consultant for Oxford Policy Management. In this role, she worked on the Multi-Stakeholder Forestry Program, which promoted sustainable practices in Indonesia’s forestry sector. Jeane also previously worked for engineering companies URS Corporation and Sinclair Knight Merz.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication science from the Open University of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia.
Jeane is based in Jakarta and speaks Indonesian and English.
